Red Vine

The Red Vine, whose botanical name is Vitis Vinifera, is a plant belonging to the Vitaceae family. Vitis Vinfera is an irregular climbing shrub, with sparse but very long branching. The trunk is twisted and irregular. The young branches have a tendril that allows the plant to attach itself to supports. At the end of their life cycle, the leaves lose their normal green color and acquire the typical red color. The Red Vine is a plant native to southern Europe and western Asia. Today it is cultivated throughout the world for the fruit it produces and for the production of wine. The active ingredients are contained in the leaves collected in autumn, when they take on reddish hues.
